West Midlands Vegan Festival 2011

Our next event will be at The West Midlands Vegan Festival on Saturday 29 Oct, the venue is the Wolves Civic Hall. We'll be doing a push-up contest for males, females & under 16's. We've maanged to add to our sponsors list we now have 5 main sponsors for the event:

Just a note for the females. We are trying to encourage you to do full push-ups, not on the knees. You can still do them on the knees, but you get 4 reps for every rep you do using full push-up technique. In other words you'll need to to do 4 times as many reps on the knees to win against a woman doing a proper push-up, so get training & let's see some woman knocking out some good reps at this years contest!!!

OK we have a new sponsor for the event - it's Vitashine Vitamin D3 (the first vitamin D3 available in the UK as far as I know-also available in the US) they are so new that they don't have a banner yet, but we'll be having prizes of their spray & we will be giving away free squirts on the day, so hit the stall & try it out for free while it lasts!
Hopefully I can carry all these prizes to the festival!!!!

I did try this out myself first to see if we wanted them as a sponsor (like I do for all the sponsors we use they are all picked by me or someone recommends them) & here's my review of their product

Just got the prizes from fitness superstore A gold's gym yoga mat, perfect push-up handles, Reebok mind & body set (stability ball , mat, bands & a roller I think are included in that) & reebok grippers. Awesome prizes for men & women's 1st & second place along with stuff from all the above & whatever else we can obtain from stall holders on the day!
It will be an awesome event this year so see you this weekend!
