Eating out Empty
PostSubject: Eating out   Eating out EmptySat Nov 21, 2009 6:31 pm

I was about to post a question, asking about recommendations for vegan restaurants in London (I expect to be there in the Spring),
but perhaps a better idea is to ask about vegan restaurants around the world.
Where would you recommend we eat today if we found ourselves in Omaha, Blackpool or Bangkok?

If you find yourself hungery in the central U.S., on the Kansas/Missouri border near Kansas City, I recommend Touch of Asia 6860 W 105th St, (150th and Metcalf), Overland Park, KS 66212, an Indian restaurant which has a particularly nice noon buffet from which you can choose vegetarian/vegan Indian foods.

This site has a listing of other vegan restaurants in the Kansas City area:

So many places in Brighton (commonly known as the vegetarian capital of Europe). We've got a veggie pub called the George, Heather Mills' new vegan place called VBites, Infinity café, friends café, tere a tere (pretty expensive to eat there, does the fancy veggie stuff), Bombay aloo is an all you eat Indian style place, even raw food cafés, blender bars etc. Even the ordinary places know what a vegan is & what you can eat!
Oh yea mustn't forget the local anarchist club the cowley club who do ultra cheap vegan food at lunchtimes, so plenty to eat round here pig
