Hey guys, I am just on week 2 of my almost vegan (still cleaning up left over whey powder) diet. Just wondering if I'm missing any food thats important or if I'm eating enough or too little. Personally I think it's well balanced, but I may be wrong
5:45am- protien shake (banana, berries, hemp seeds, 1 cup rice or almond milk, 2 scoops protein)
6:15am- lift wieghts
post workout- 2 scoops protien with water and an apple
8:30am- vegan pancakes (1/2 cup soy milk, 1/3cup soy flour, 1/3cup whole wheat flour, 1/3cup mixture of flax and oats, 1/4cup wheat germ, extra water) and a carrot
11:00am- quinoa and beans
12:30- big veggie salad! (spinach, bell pepper, tomatoes and mushrooms)
2:00pm- beans and quinoa
5:00pm- 1/2 cup of nuts (usually almonds, walnuts and peanuts) and a big fruit salad (grapes, strawberries, pineapple)
6pm-8pm- Either yoga or kickboxing
8:30pm- 1 cup soy milk with 1 cup of hemp granola and an apple
9:30- sleep
I'm just wondering if this is enough or too much for me. I did a calorie counter and estimated I need around 3000 calories. I am young (22) and quite active as I work out twice a day every day (except weekends, which I just do yoga). I am fairly slim and wiegh about 185 lbs and 6"2. I'm not too bulky yet, just not sure how much I need to bulk up a little bit
