New research hot off the press. If you eat a small bit of red meat twice a year you 'could' be ok, but more than that will lead to an early death according to this new research. Put this together with the stuff from Campbell others & you start to see that meat generally is starting to look very unattractive!

No there was no funding by interested parties & they think grass fed will have the same results. Another reason to avoid meat, you want to live a long time!

Eeek!
But the studies are talking about "red" meat only, aren't they?
I've mentioned before that I am a Vegetarian In Recovery, and that I still eat a few vegan forbidden Vegan fruits.
When I kept dairy goats they were pampered darlings, and won prizes, so the cheese made from their milk wasn't exactly vegan, was it?
"Bucky-burger" was born later, but we placed him with a rescue-farm, and he may be living still.
Heck, when Anna and Mimsey, and Romrath delivered kids and increased our dairy herd, there was so much milk coming in that I sometimes tossed rounds of cheese to the chickens, who roamed where they pleased. The chickens were more than free-roaming...they founded empires! And they layed eggs under the lawn mower when it pleased them.

But little by little I am moving toward vegan living, so wish me luck.

Yep, this study is about red meat. Have a look at

It's a 30 minute video with vegan bodybuilder Jim Morris who is in his mid-70's in this interview (done last year). I'm looking into growing some aloe vera too now Very Happy I'm also going to have to keep an eye out for his book when it comes out.

Chickens you are the best. I don't like red meat so the findings of the research are pleasing for me. Very Happy
