Bah! New pro-fur scheme

This annoyed me. If you look at the bit about welfare where they show the 'ideal' conditions it's basically a factory farm! Pile upon pile of cages. I had the misfortune of seeing a couple of fur farms before we finally got them banned in the UK. Man the stench! Imagine those piles of cages, but quite rusty, with piles of droppings under the cages (& on the animals below the top cages), dead bodies amongst the dropping & in a few cages just rotting & every animal doing that weird bobbing or repetitive movement because they'd gone kind of mad being in such a small cage. Seeing that made up my mind about using fur once & for all! It truly was my idea of hell on earth!
Anyway here's the advert that started that rant!

Yugghh, models shouldn't be dressed like cavemen. We have evolved people! Get with the program! The idea is sort of step in the right direction, i.e., not skinning wild animals alive (I'm assuming). But still, yuk.
