Here's the thing. The people promoting the Paleo-diet have the argument that cave-men (& women) ate meat, leafy veggies & roots, no grains & we still have the same design, so we should be eating the same. Next time you meet a guy suggesting the Paleo-diet, point out that we now know cave-men (& women) ate grains & even appeared to process grains to make them more edible check out the article here
So grain are actually a part of a normal humans diet & not the new addition some people have been claiming.
